Multi-million pound Rockwater complex APPROVED for Sandbanks Beach

Exciting plans to develop a new seafront complex in Sandbanks have been approved! Transforming the existing Sandbanks Cafe site with a new restaurant, facilities and beachside kiosks.

Luke Davis – a businessman based in East Sussex and owner of Rockwater Village in Hove, has been granted planning permission to create a new beachside development here in Sandbanks. The plans include redeveloping the existing Sandbanks Café site in to a new community complex including restaurant, hospitality and beachside kiosks.

Based on the success of his operation in Hove, East Sussex he has also been granted permission to develop a similar project at Branksome Chine, a short stroll up the coastline from Sandbanks.

In its report, the council said:

“The proposal would enhance the existing restaurant provision in this established tourist location and would boost the local economy in a manner that would not be detrimental to the character and appearance of the area.”- BCP Council Spokesperson
