Poole Park is a stunning and vast conservation area offering an impression array of activities with spectacular views over 110 acres of tranquil swan filled lakes and ponds. With two children’s play areas, miniature golf and its very own Poole Park Railway, you will also find activities such as kayaking, jet-skiing, sailing and rowing which in some cases can be booked on the day (though pre-booking is advised during peek seasons).
Explore the local bird life and take a stroll along this stretch of coast line which extends uninterrupted from Poole Quay to White Cliff Park where you can also enjoy a spot of kite-flying or even kite-surfing if you’re a bit of a wind-chaser. The large flat green fields butting alongside the glistening coast line is the perfect place to walk the dog or exercise with one of the park many fitness trails, which are free for anyone to use above the age of 14.
You’ll find plenty of parking in one of the two free car parks almost all year round but expect them to be full in the Summer, and there is disabled parking right at front with immediate access to cafe’s and toilets.
