Poole Harbour Cruises
Take a relaxing, guided tour of Poole Harbour and enjoy spectacular views of Europe’s largest natural harbour.
Take a relaxing cruise around the Islands of Poole Bay – Europe’s largest natural harbour as you listen to expert live commentary explaining the fascinating history of the area. Admire the beautiful golden sands of Sandbanks peninsula and the luxury homes of the “Golden Mile”. Watch as 185 million years of history unfold before your eyes as you skirt the Jurassic Coastline – scenery that helped inspire Tolkien’s iconic ‘Lord of the Rings’ and Jonathan Swift’s ‘Gulliver’s Travels’. You’ll pass by some other historic landmarks including Brownsea Island, home to the rare red squirrel and the castle built by Henry VIII to guard against French invasions. You’ll also get to see Old Harry Rocks, named after the infamous Harry Payne.
Choose a seat from either the open deck or in the inside saloon, where you will see stunning views of the exceptional landscape that surrounds it. Your cruise will last for 70 minutes and starts at Poole Quay with its old buildings and buzzing atmosphere. We recommend arriving early to take in the views before your trip starts.
