South Beach - Studland
The closest beach to Old Harry’s Rocks with chalming little wooden beach huts and a sheltered cove.
At the farthest point of the Studland Peninsula accessible by people is a sheltered cove where 2km of soft sandy beach slopes gently in to the sea. The water is safe here as it’s shallow (waist height) and therefore is very popular for families with younger children. It’s a secluded little bay that offers a more rugged view of the Jurassic Coast and of course, offers the best view of Old Harry’s Rocks.
